Our first tournament of the year was completed this past weekend at Bainbridge Country Club. Tournament players from Georgia, Florida and Alabama competed in what would be
best described as very difficult conditions, cool windy weather and very fast greens. This year's overall tournament champion is John Smith of Statesboro Georgia. John finished the tournament with a total score of 9 under par 207 and a eight shot victory. Marcus Beck of Tallahassee was the Championship Fight Winner with a total score of 218, two over par.
